Customer Feedback

“Not only have the tutors managed to raise the grades of the boys, but they have formed mentorship roles in the boys’ lives, going above and beyond the call. By screening university students, Teach Me 2, not only manages to tap into the brightest and the best, but also creates a real connection between the tutors and students. The boys’ marks and behaviour in class is tracked over time and suggestions and solutions are constantly being tailored to fit their individual needs. So often, it has been so important to not only see the final marks, but the underlying circumstances and insights that Teach Me 2 provides.”
- Caroline Rupert, The Rupert Education Trust (October, 2010)

– Charmaine Lautre (November, 2009)
“I am very pleased with the tutoring that I received from my tutor, and would like to tell you that, apart from being very talented and passionate about music, that he is also a great tutor! I’ve learned a lot from him in a short space of time and he helped me not only improve my skill, but increase my confidence tremendously. I am now a much more rounded musician (dare I say…) and enjoyed starting at the beginning with the scales, then progressing through to increased tab and chord knowledge.”
– Jacques Fouche, Johannesburg (May 2012)

“We have been learning Zulu in order to be more relevant in our country and to keep up with our son who will be learning Zulu as he grows up. We have had such an amazing tutor, who loves the language, and is very skilled in bringing it to life and helping us enjoy language learning. We have had only pleasant experiences with our tutor and have found him willing to be flexible – so helpful with busy lives. Since learning to speak Zulu, we have had very positive feedback from the Zulu speakers in our lives and have had much fun communicating with them.”
– George & Gael Gilchrist, Johannesburg (May 2012)
“At the beginning of the year I was ready to give up because I thought I had no chance of receiving higher marks for Maths and Physical Science but when Teach Me 2 came along my confidence struck high up. My initial results were 38% for Mathematics and 45% for Science. It took some time but my supplementary exam results came through and I have received 71% for Maths and 55% for Science. Thanks to Teach Me 2 I have hope again.”
- John Constantinides, Johannesburg (May 2012)

“My son went from not understanding Physical Science (told me that it was like learning a foreign language, did not have a clue) to fully grasping the concepts. He has gone from 39% last December to regularly achieving in the 70s and 80%. Physics is now his favourite subject.”
– Teach Me 2 Client, Cape Town (May 2012)
“After finding Teach Me 2 on the Internet, I decided to give them a try to assist my daughter to improve her maths marks for her matric exams at the end of 2008.
The prospect of engaging this service via the Internet left me a little nervous. I must say, however, that the whole engagement worked well and doing the business electronically (quotes, fee payments etc) was a great time-saving benefit to me.
The important part – maths teaching – was superb! My daughter’s tutor, Jonathan, was most reliable and had excellent subject matter knowledge. The end result was a noticeable improvement in her maths mark for matric – and her enjoying the classes. I can happily recommend Teach Me 2!”
- Graham Sterley (January, 2009)
“Ours is an on-going story, but at the end of last year my son’s mark increased from 49% to 73% with 5 lessons… It was a huge relief to have him back where he should be. We have continued with Craig this year and he has assisted with Maths and Life Sciences on a ‘need to know’ basis… We hope the ½ year marks will be a further testament to this amazing assistance to learning.”
- Vanessa Stevenson, Johannesburg (May 2012)
“Thanks for excellent tutoring – we’re so excited that my son, with ADD, passed really well!”
- Anon. (January, 2009)
“Grade 10 Maths improved by 20% and now in Gr 11 very much the same. My daughter understands much better with the one-on-one assistance from the tutor. Will most certainly use Teach Me 2 for any subject if we needed to.”
- Tertia Penkin, Johannesburg (May 2012)
“I approached Teach Me 2 in absolute desperation. My daughter had passed Zulu adequately in Grade 11 but started her Matric year with a dismal 34% for her end of first term marks. This was a complete shock to us and a huge blow to my daughter’s confidence. After scouring the Internet, I found Teach Me 2. I was delighted to find that Teach Me 2 has a private tutor system whereby the tutor teaches a child in his or her own home, at an agreed time. It was slow to start and my daughter felt very hesitant, as well as embarrassed about her dismal marks. However, with such an encouraging tutor we began to see good results. Those good results escalated rapidly. My daughter went from 34% in first term to 45% in second term, to 53% in third term, and to a healthy 63% in her final exams. I had thought initially that we were too late to see any results from tutoring. I was astonished and gratified to see the benefits so quickly. I also liked the fact that each month we received a report and performance assessment. This report helped my daughter feel a greater sense of confidence and that she was definitely improving. Teach Me 2 takes the time and trouble to properly assess the problem, the child, and come up with working solutions. Their professionalism and customer service is excellent. I also felt I could approach them at any time with questions. I highly recommend Teach Me 2. They rescued us from what we thought was an insurmountable problem!”
