Teach Me 2 Tutoring was founded in 2006 in response to a need in the education sector for a teaching brand which could partner with schools, parents and education-bodies to support the learning process beyond normal school hours.

Following two years of consistent growth, Teach Me 2 Tutoring now manages a nationwide footprint of tutors and educators operating primarily in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban. Teach Me 2 Tutoring also has a fledgling branch in the United Kingdom, in London. Our clients include private individuals, prominent schools, education trusts and businesses. Our network is capably supported by our operations team comprising 6 permanent staff members and various regional tutor recruitment agents. Our Head Office is in Cape Town.

Teach Me 2 offers private and group tutoring lessons to learners of all ages and levels, including Foundation phase, primary school, secondary school, tertiary level or even tutoring geared for the corporate sector. We also offer tutoring packages for specialist languages and courses. We recruit university students as tutors and our online system manages almost every aspect of the business.  Tutoring takes place at our clients’ homes.

As a franchise owner, you will be required to market your business in your area (with our help), manage all sales activities, including handling customer enquiries and package sales (using our systems), interview and accept tutors and teachers onto your books (based on our strict selection criteria) and make use of our user-friendly online management system to match clients to tutors, co-ordinate lessons, process invoices, make tutor payments and handle all client and tutor communications (at the click of a button!).

Training takes place over 3 days, either at our Head Office or in your region.  We also provide monthly training relating to the running of the franchise, marketing strategies, promotion strategies and system updates (if applicable).

What does the franchise cost?  
Upfront franchise premium:  R75 000 – R300 000 (Depending on region size).
Working capital:  Approximately R30 000 – R60 000 (Depending on region size).
Franchise fee: 7% of turnover.

• Ongoing financial and business management support and advice.

As an owner-operator, you will enjoy a realistic earning potential of R15 000 – R30 000 per month (or upwards, depending on the franchise area and team size).
