THE SIMPLICITY GENE

The first component of our DNA is our belief that learning should be kept simple. It’s easy to get bogged down by the sheer scale and complexity of the subjects which need to be mastered by today’s students. Textbooks are sometimes unclear and schools are often unable to afford students the individual attention required to break down subjects into their core components. From our experience, we’ve found that often the critical factor in determining academic results is not the student’s success in grasping the material, but rather the teacher’s success in communicating it. That’s why at Teach Me 2 we believe in keeping learning simple.

Using carefully chosen learning resources and insisting on only the most competent tutors, we make sure that learning is as simple and straightforward as possible.


THE PERSONAL GENE

The second component of our DNA is our commitment to making learning personal. When it comes to learning, everyone is different – and yet in most cases schools are forced to teach everyone in the same manner. It should hardly be a surprise that sometimes students don’t respond well and their results suffer. Most often it’s neither the fault of the school nor the student – it’s simply the way the system is structured. The good news is that Teach Me 2 specialises in bridging this gap by building custom tutoring programmes, conducted in the comfort of your home, which take into account the unique needs of each of our learners. Every step in the process - from selecting the right tutor to designing the right lesson plan – is personalised. It’s what gives us our edge and enables our pupils to shine.


THE PASSION GENE

Thirdly, it may not surprise you that we’re driven by an inherent passion for what we do, because we know what it means to our pupils when our tutors go beyond the requirements of basic tutoring and become mentors, role models and encouragers. That’s the special space Teach Me 2 strives to occupy, believing there is nothing more fulfilling than being a blessing to others. That’s why we’re so passionate about making a difference. Whether it’s arriving at a lesson with a coke for our pupil on a hot day, sending them a ‘good luck’ sms before a big test or simply chatting with them about their ambitions – sometimes the smallest gesture of kindness will generate ripples of change in a young life.
