I am an applied mathematics graduate who loves helping people see how useful and fun maths can be.
I am a kind and patient person who makes an effort to see things from their point of view without just telling them the way I do things. There are many ways to see a problem and perspectives can help you gain more insight. I really care about using time effectively and am always well prepared.

Additional Mathematics
I passed additional mathematics with distinction in matric and really enjoyed the subject. I went on to do a BSc in maths and applied mathematics and have tutored numerous maths and applied maths courses.
Mathematics
I passed matric maths with distinction in 2006 before going on to do a BSc in maths so I really like maths. I have tutored matric maths to a number of students both professionally and for friends/family. I also tutored GSCE (eq grade 10) maths in the UK.
Advanced Mathematics
I passed advanced maths with distinction in matric. I went on to do a BSc in applied maths and maths at UCT and tutor a number of maths courses as well as matric.

Applied Mathematics
I did an undergrad and masters in applied mathematics at UCT. Experienced in Matlab and various C++ finite element libraries. Specialising in numerical methods, finite elements, scientific computing and biological modelling. Very excited about the use of maths and modelling in the world.
Mathematics
I have lectured first-year maths at UCT. I majored in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at UCT. I have tutored MAM1000W, MAM1010F, MAM1012S and other applied maths courses. I also tutored in the hot seat at UCT where students can come in with any questions they may have about their maths course.
Mathematical Modelling
I have an MSc in Applied Mathematics specialising in applying finite element methods to model the heart. I am passionate about using mathematics to describe the world. I have tutored MAM1043H and Continuum Mechanics at masters level. Other projects included lung modelling, blood flow modelling.
Matlab
I have used and enjoy using Matlab extensively throughout my applied mathematics degrees up to and including masters level. I have also been a private tutor and tutor for Matlab courses including MAM1043H.
Civil Engineering Maths
I did a number of maths courses offered to Civil Engineering students such as continuum mechanics, finite elements and advanced finite elements. As well as this my Masters dissertation was done with Dr Skatulla from Civil Engineering. I have tutored the postgrad continuum mechanics course at UCT.
Engineering Maths
I enthusiastically engaged in various math courses tailored for Engineering students, including continuum mechanics, finite elements, and advanced finite elements. Additionally, I actively tutored the postgrad continuum mechanics course at UCT.
