Bio
I am a chemistry PhD student studying the fundamental theories of chemistry. I strive to improve the quality of education by building the student's understanding of the subject from basic principles.
I have many years of tutoring experience, especially for university students. I started tutoring in the chemistry department at the University of Pretoria in 2016. I also tutored fellow high school learners when I was in high school. I approach tutoring on an individual basis to make the content as relatable as possible for each individual.

Mathematics
I obtained a distinction for Mathematics in my grade 12 exams. I also did university-level Mathematics and use it in my day to day work as a theoretical chemist which involves a lot of calculations and simulations.
Chemistry
I obtained a distinction in my grade 12 exams for Chemistry and I also hold an honours degree in Chemistry. I currently do research on chemical bonding.
Physics
I obtained a distinction in Physics for my grade 12 final exams and also do research using physics to explain chemistry.
Physical Science
I obtained a distinction in my grade 12 exams for Physical Science and I hold a degree in Chemistry. I am doing postgrad research in Chemistry using Physics theories to explain how chemical bonding works.

Chemistry
I hold an honours degree in Chemistry and I am currently doing my postgraduate degree in theoretical and computational chemistry. I have many years of experience in tutoring for the department of chemistry at the University of Pretoria.
Physics
I have been exposed to a lot of Physics during my postgraduate studies, especially quantum mechanics. I took physics courses in my first year and did select specialised courses later on. I feel confident in teaching introductory physics.
Calculus
I work with a lot of calculus in my research as a theoretical chemist. It is a part of my daily life and I am confident in teaching this content to first-year students. I did calculus and differential equations up to my second year at university.
Linear Algebra
I use linear algebra in my research as a theoretical chemist and feel confident teaching this content at an introductory level. I have taught linear algebra to fellow postgraduate students who did not do the course in their undergraduate studies.
Mathematics
I have experience in tutoring mathematics at first-year level as well as using maths in my postgrad research.
Biology
I did biology throughout my undergrad and have assisted postgrad students who did not do biology to understand the basic principles when they needed that insight for their projects.
