Bio

I am an avid and passionate reader of English Literature and enjoy exploring and re-exploring new and well-known texts and am always amazed at the new insight that I gain every time I do so.

I believe that my passion for the written word and its many nuances rubs off on my students and creates a similar desire in them to explore the many great works of literature that are available to them, both as books or electronic texts. I encourage students to see that there is no right or wrong meaning to a text and that they create the meaning based upon their own knowledge and experience.

Achievements

• Developing a lasting rapport with some students who still communicate with me after leaving college. One student was so 'impressed' with my English and Communication lectures that when her husband had problems writing his MBA dissertation she recommended my services - he attained a distinction.
