I am an Actuarial Science Honours Student with a passion for teaching. I'm an enthusiastic lifelong learner who constantly strives to add value to the lives of those around me.
I pride myself on my ability to put myself in the shoes of each individual, and I believe that this is essential in helping students achieve their goals. I strive to empower students to use their own tools of learning to the best potential, rather than imposing my own thoughts and ideologies. I aim to create a positive learning environment where each student thoroughly enjoys what they are doing.

I have a passion for Mathematics, and hence pursued a Maths-intensive degree at UCT. In my 5+ years of tutoring Maths, I've found it very rewarding to help students grasp new concepts and to see their contentment in the improvement of their marks.
Physical Science
As someone who initially struggled with Physics, but ended up achieving an aggregate of 87% in Matric, I believe that I'm in the perfect position to be a Physics tutor. Through this struggle I developed a passion for the subject, and I hope to pass my enjoyment and understanding on to my students.
English
I obtained a 91% aggregate for English Home Language in Matric, and I love passing on my knowledge of the subject to my students. I especially enjoy teaching literature and poetry.
Advanced Mathematics
I obtained a distinction for Mathematics 1 (MAM1000W) and passed Mathematics 2 (MAM2000W) at UCT. I have extensive tutoring experience in these courses, and hence in Advanced Mathematics. I find it very rewarding to see my students grasp challenging concepts and see their marks improve.
