I enjoy playing guitar, reading and writing. This year, I am studying a Post Graduate Certificate in Education after finishing my BAHons in English with an elective in French Literature.
I enjoy helping people and believe that I am patient and able to explain things clearly. I am good at keeping people calm when they are struggling to understand something. I get along with people very easily.

• I was the youngest winner of the Barleycorn Songwriting Competition in 2012

I love English literature and opted to study it at UCT. After my undergrad, I went on to obtain a first in my Honours degree in English. I am now studying to be an English teacher. I know that I can share my passion for the language with others.

Afrikaans
I really enjoyed Afrikaans throughout school. I believe that I could use my passion to help learners view the subject more positively. I love speaking the language and I love getting people to converse in and understand it.

I matriculated with 80% for Biology and really enjoyed engaging with the content.
History
I really enjoyed History at school, and have a good grasp of the content up to grade 9 level.
