I am a quirky person with my own sense of style. One of my most notable personality characteristics is that I am an incredibly hard worker as well as an especially loyal person.
I am an incredibly loyal person and I, therefore, go out of my way to help those that I am close to. One such example is my role as a senior player in my school's First Hockey Team. Similarly, I enjoy interacting with people and part of this interaction involves helping others. Throughout school, I continuously participated in community service as a way to help others.

• I was particularly pleased with this award as it was awarded for my personality, noted as loyal and kind

Life Sciences (Biology)
Biology is always a subject I have loved. It explains the many things we take for granted - like breathing with the respiratory system. One exciting aspect of Biology is that it is continuously changing as new research is continuously released.
English
English has always been my favorite subject while in school, so much so that I took Advanced Program English. My favorite aspect of the subject is that it is not restricted to a single form - there are speeches, creative writing, grammar, etc.
History
History is a subject that I enjoyed so much that I have decided to pursue it in university. I believe, as a society, we can only grow by learning from the past. Additionally, I have always thrived on the essay aspects of the subject.
Exam Preparation
I have always been fascinated with our ability to learn. Often schools teach us what to learn, rather than how to learn. Through courses and online research, I have found a variety of methods that aid exam preparation.
