I am a hardworking student on her way to becoming a teacher. I enjoy making music, reading, writing, teaching, as well as helping others discover their passions and seeing them grow.

I have patience and love seeing others achieve in life. I will go out of my way to help those who struggle and really have the will to try, work hard and achieve.

• My proudest achievements would be graduating my Bachelor of Music degree Cum Laude from Stellenbosch University, attaining my ATCL from Trinity College London, and having had masterclasses with renowned recorder players from all over the world.

I have been fortunate to receive masterclasses on the recorder by world-renowned players and study the instrument on a high level. I love teaching the instrument. It is a starting-out instrument as well as a virtuosic instrument in its own right.

Software - Finale

Beginner (Grades 1 - 3) - Advanced (Grades 7 - 8)

I use this software often for arrangements, transcriptions, and original compositions. I enjoy Finale's features and rate it as the best quality in music notation software. The outcome is professional music scores that are readable by all musicians.

Piano (Classical)

Beginner (Grades 1 - 3) - Intermediate (Grades 4 - 6)

I have studied piano at university level with Sandra Kettle and Dr Pieter Grobler. I love seeing how people come to love making music on this instrument! Anyone can learn to play the piano, and I enjoy being apart of the process.

Composition

Beginner (Grades 1 - 3) - Intermediate (Grades 4 - 6)

I have done composition until second year level at university and enjoy writing and experimenting with sounds. Composition helps tie today theory and creativity. My past compositions have been played by amateurs and professionals.

Singing

Beginner (Grades 1 - 3)

I have done singing as part of my music degree course and have coached beginner singing. I am also currently doing a postgraduate teaching method course at the University of Cape Town in singing and choir training.

Violin

Beginner (Grades 1 - 3)

I have studied violin at Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre. I have played in orchestras and was privileged to be under the tutelage of Annien Shaw. My interest in violin extends to solo playing, chamber music, and early music/baroque performance.
