Bio
I am very passionate about my languages and language in general. I always aim to aid in understanding the subject matter and therefore adapt accordingly with the learner.
I have a lot of patience and I don’t mind repeating myself, but I always want to see a smile or a sense of comfort from the learner which makes learning a little easier. I learned this through volunteer teaching at two underprivileged schools in Grahamstown at which I taught English second language to one or two Grade 1/2 students for two years.

• My honors in both German and Chinese Studies, and receiving HSK 4 at the end of my second year in Chinese Studies.

Chinese
I tutored Chinese Studies at Rhodes University for 4 years, both first year and second year students. I also have my honours in Chinese Studies from Rhodes and I worked at BAIC SA in Coega (in Port Elizabeth) translating admin department documents.
German
I tutored German to first years for one year at Rhodes University, I then spent another year tutoring a 15-year-old homeschooler in German on a weekly basis. I also have an honors degree in German Studies from Rhodes University.
