I am a friendly person with a passion for education and empowering the next generation. I have a good sense of humour and love being creative and volunteering in my spare time.
I've been leading at my church's Youth Group every Friday night for almost six years. In addition, I am quite patient when teaching others, as I have learned about myself from helping my friends to understand concepts at school and university.
• 2017-present: Bachelor of Social Work, UCT
• I have been working with kids of all ages in several capacities since I was in grade 11.
• I have a DELF B1 qualification from l'Alliance Francais.
• Being asked to join Golden Key.
• Making the Dean's list at UCT in 2019.
• Having made it into GradStar's Top 100 students in the country.
Although my final matric mark for maths was only 80%, I seldom achieved below this for maths throughout high school. I also took AP Mathematics until matric as my eighth subject. I was in my school's top set Mathematics class from Grade 8 to 12.
This was my highest matric result achieved, and I generally am good at understanding languages - thus, am good at helping others understand them too.
I took French as a school subject until matric and also was awarded a B2-level DELF certificate from l'Alliance Francais in 2016 for proficiency in my skills.
