I'm passionate about learning and education. As much as I enjoy learning I also want to pass my knowledge on and create a passion for learning in others too!
I'm extremely patient. If a learner doesn't understand I'll try to think of another way to explain. I also listen to what learners are asking or saying to make sure I'm answering what they're asking. I don't just ask if they understand, I ask them to explain the concept to me to make sure they are really getting it.

Achievements
• I helped two Grade 12 Geography rewrite learners pass.
• I've taught a foreigner to speak Afrikaans and understand it.

English
I've tutored a Grade 12 learner in English home language (CAPS), focusing on language and literature. I have also tutored IEB English HL to Grade 10 and 11 learners. I have a postgraduate certificate in education that includes language teaching.
Afrikaans
I've tutored learners in Afrikaans FAL for six years: Grades 4-12. I have a postgraduate certificate in education that includes language teaching.
Geography
I've tutored Grade 10 and 12 Geography, including Grade 11 IEB. I have also tutored three Matric rewrite Geography learners. I have a postgraduate certificate in education that includes teaching social sciences.
History
I love History and have tutored it to a Grade 9 learner. I also helped a Grade 7 special needs learner prepare for his History exam. I have a postgraduate certificate in education that includes teaching social sciences.
