I am a fourth year medical student with a passion for knowledge and understanding. I am hardworking and when I set my mind to something I like to make sure that my goal is achieved.
I am very patient and willing to take the time necessary to help people understand things in their own way. I am creative and like to explain topics in more interesting and exciting ways to help students engage with the content better and find it more interesting.

Achievements
• Getting into Medicine at Wits and being successful at it so far. Being a part of the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra as a percussionist. I also played in the first team for Rugby and Waterpolo in high school, which created a healthy balance in my life.

Mathematics
I have always enjoyed Maths. I found that it was my most exciting and successful subject throughout my schooling career. I know that Maths can sometimes be confusing, but I believe that often this can be solved by looking at it from a new perspective, which I think I will be able to provide.
Physical Science
Physical Science has always sparked an interest in me and I would like to be a part of lighting that spark in others. It can often seem overwhelming and like an impossible amount of work, but if the fundamental understanding is there it can help hugely and I would like to contribute to that.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I have always enjoyed Life Sciences and have furthered my passion for it during my time in university. This subject can open so many doors for students in the future and I think that with the right approach it can be made far easier than it originally seems.
English
I understand that English can be challenging and confusing to lots of students, especially when they have a more mathematical brain. I would like to help those students engage better with the subject and see that with a little bit of effort English really isn't so hard.
Afrikaans
Afrikaans requires practice and hard work. I would love to facilitate that process by helping my students take a creative and fun approach to learning it. Languages often require a different type of learning, but it can be very rewarding to learn how to speak a second language.
