I am an MSc student at the University of Pretoria, having completed a B.Sc Biochemistry and Genetics degree as well as B.Sc Biochemistry (Hons).
I have always been one to see things from a different perspective, and had to learn to explain work to fellow students in ways that they would understand. My philosophy is that a good teacher produces students able to surpass her own ability, and not only teaches students their work but assists them in developing skills needed to become independent students.

Physical Science has always been one of my favourite subjects, and I believe that anyone can understand and excel in it if it is explained correctly.
Mathematics was difficult for me until someone took the time to explain it properly. I believe that I could do the same for others.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Life Sciences can be fun if you have the right attitude and can see the wonder of it.
Geography is a fun subject! I love explaining Geographical and weather related things to people.
University level Chemistry can be difficult, not due to the work itself, but rather the workload and the teaching styles of the lecturers. Having completed the courses, I know what to expect and how to adjust study methods to suit the subjects.
Genetics is one of my majors and I enjoy explaining concepts in this subject to my peers.
