Bio
I am a very active and friendly person. My favourite things to do are travelling, going on adventures and laughing a lot.
I am very passionate about instilling proper understanding within my students. I always make sure I am not going too fast and insist my students explain back to me the material they have learned in their own words. I also make sure knowledge is not lost from lesson to lesson by quick revision in subsequent lessons. Also, I try to keep lessons light hearted and relaxed and full of laughter.

• Cycling around South East Asia for three months (3500km)

I received an 'A' for Matric English and also completed further English courses at university level.
History
I received an 'A' for History in Matric and I'm constantly furthering my learning through casual study (as it is one of my passions). I am a proficient essay writer (having completed a degree at UCT) and have experience in teaching essay techniques.
Mathematics
Maths is one of my favourite subjects and definitely my favourite subject to teach. I have tutored about 10 students in Maths in the past and with all of them I have seen incredible improvements!
Music Theory
Music Theory was one of my strongest subjects at school. Like Maths I understand it is simply about applying the correct formulas and sometimes students need a little help in grasping that.
