I'm a passionate and experienced tutor with 2 years of tutoring experience. I am currently obtaining my degree in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone has the potential to learn and excel with the right guidance and support. As a tutor, I use a variety of teaching methods tailored to each student's individual learning style and needs. I believe in making learning fun and engaging, using real-life examples and practical applications to help students understand complex concepts.

• Being the Editor in Chief for our school magazine/newspaper for 3 years in a row has been my proudest achievement to date.
• Acquiring the role of Deputy Headboy was a phenomenal milestone that honed my leadership skills.

Mathematics
Mathematics can be challenging however incorporating consistent practice, breaking down problems into smaller parts, using some visual aids, and applying it to real-life problems is a good way to make maths easier, fun, and enjoyable for students.
Accounting
Accounting is more enjoyable when done correctly. Keeping organized and up to date with what is required is the first step. The more work that is practiced, patterns are noticed and then able to be anticipated. The best thing is staying engaged during the lesson always goes a long way with students.
English
English is a particularly straightforward subject. Always starting with the basics to help solidify the foundation. Regular practice with speeches and readings. Identifying the struggle areas and focusing on them helps to make it more fun and enjoyable for students.
Afrikaans
Basics are imperative with languages, I've found that by listening to people speak, students are able to get familiar with sounds and intonation. Consistency is key when it comes to languages hence regular practice is needed. Coupled with patience and persistence, students have a recipe for success.
