Bio
I am a UCT graduate, having obtained my degree in Finance and Accounting, and I currently work within the financial services industry. In light of this, one of my biggest passions is teaching.
I have previous tutoring experience. I volunteered for SHAWCO at UCT where I tutored fourth grade learners in English and Life Orientation. I also tutored for the School of Economics at UCT, focusing on Economics. I am always willing to listen to and understand where the gaps are in a learner's knowledge in order to best fill that gap.

Achievements
• 1. I achieved the Dux Scholar award in my grade 12 year (2012), with seven distinctions.
• 2. I completed my B. Bus. Sci. degree in record time, without repeating courses or years.
• 3. I am excellent at explaining complex issues in a way that is easier to understand.
Subjects
- School Tutoring
Accounting
I received the award for Highest Accounting Mark in my Grade 12 year in 2012 at Sasolburg High School. I loved the subject so much that I went on to study Accounting at UCT.
Mathematics
Not only did I receive a distiction for Pure Mathematics in Grade 12, but I also completed Mathematics Paper 3 with a mark above 70%. Furthermore, I completed mathematics at a university level in my first year (2013).
Economics
Microeconomics and Macroeconomics (first and second year level for both) were requisites within my degree, and I achieved above 70% for each without having done it at school.

Accounting
I completed my B. Bus. Sci. in Finance with Accounting, without failing a year or a course. My knowledge of accounting has been cemented by working within the fund accounting field.
Taxation
As part of my degree, I completed the necessary taxation courses to go onto doing my accounting honours. My passion for tax runs deep and I am planning on doing my Tax Honours and Masters.
