English was my favourite subject at school, inspired by an off-beat teacher who was more engaged with life than the curriculum, creating a culture of enquiry and interest in our lessons.

Although I did not perform exceptionally well at Maths in Matric, now that i am an adult, I could see myself helping students to deal with challenging Mathematical concepts, as I have recently assisted my three teenage sons.
