Bio
I am a reliable, hard-working and bubbly person who genuinely enjoys helping others. In my spare time, you will find me exploring our city or up on the mountain doing wildlife photography.
I love helping students to grasp difficult concepts, and through this, helping them to build confidence in their abilities. My previous experience in tutoring has taught me that many students may not understand the initial way a concept has been explained to them in class. Quite often, viewing the topic from a different perspective can make all the difference.

• 2016 Runner up (out of 400 photo entries) in the conceptual category of 'Exposure', a professionally judged environmental photography competition.
• 2014 Performed at the Barnyard theatre as a solo vocalist in 'You're the Voice'.

Art
I am passionate about art and have worked with a wide variety of techniques and mediums. This includes drawing (tonals and sketches), painting, sculpture & photography. I understand the standard at which sourcebooks/visual portfolios need to be.
Art History
I have an excellent understanding of what is expected in art history essays and exams. I have covered both local and international artists ranging from drawing to painting to architecture and even film.
English
English was one of my favourite subjects in school. I have an aptitude for essay writing, comprehension work, poem interpretation, literature interpretation and public speaking.
Geography
I'm passionate about geography because it's one of the most applicable school subjects. It encompasses everything: society, ecology, weather and governance. Plus, who wouldn't want to bring up their grade average or win a general knowledge quiz?
Life Sciences (Biology)
I am a passionate UCT BSc graduate student in Biochemistry, Human Anatomy and Physiology. I have a strong understanding of biological concepts and am extremely good at making complex concepts easy to understand.
Mathematics
I enjoy and I am very good at assisting students to understand concepts that may seem difficult at first. I took core Maths to Matric and further did Mathematics and Statistics courses in my Bachelor of Science Degree.
Physical Science
I took Science to Matric and did Physics in my first year of university. It is a logical subject that can be easy, but it is often explained in a confusing way. I enjoy the subject and love the challenge of making it understandable.
Afrikaans
Afrikaans can be difficult to learn from an English-speaking background. But, once a student understands the basics they will fly. I can help students to familiarise themselves with the language by identifying and working through their difficulties.
