I am a Chemist-to-be who loves and gains immense personal satisfaction from helping people. I thrive in new, challenging situations and am enthusiastic about life and learning (expanding my knowledge)
I genuinely believe that anyone that wants to better themselves, can do it. I love helping people to achieve that. I understand how it felt to feel confused with certain subjects and not know how to ask for help or even what I needed help with. I got help from a school tutor and learnt that the learning process isn't as daunting as expected. I decided to help others just like how I was helped.

• Completed: BSc Chemistry with distinction, majors: Chemistry & Biochemistry, University of Pretoria (2016 -2019)

My Proudest
Achievements
• I was extremely proud of myself for achieving all 7 Distinctions for my subjects in high school (especially in Afrikaans). It made me believe that hard work really does pay off.
• I also am proud of myself for completing my undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry.

I am currently studying towards an MSc Chemistry degree. Since 2019, I have been appointed at UP as a practical demonstrator and e-tutor for various chemistry modules, including CMY 117/151/154, CHM 181, CMY 282/284/382, CHM 218. I feel that I'm more than capable to tutor students in this area.
Organic Chemistry
I am currently studying towards an MSc Chemistry degree, specializing in Organic Chemistry. I feel that I'm more than capable to tutor students in this area. The trickiest part about Organic Chemistry is learning how to study the vast amounts of work, which I can help with.
