Bio
I am a passionate individual who has a keen interest in learning, acquiring and imparting knowledge. I enjoy reading and writing in my spare time.
In grade 8 I struggled with academics. Due to having been in that position, I empathise with students seeking help. I have always enjoyed helping people, which influenced my career in dentistry. My passion for helping others, coupled with this empathy is what makes me believe that I would be an excellent tutor.
Education
• I am a full-time student at the University of the Western Cape. I am currently a final year dentistry student.

Achievements
• I am incredibly proud of the distinction which I received for the Cambridge International AS Level English course which I obtained at only 16 as well as the creative writing award which I received in 2016. Lastly, I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to study for a dentistry degree.

Due to my love for the language, I have excelled at English throughout my entire school career. In 2016 I was awarded a prize for creative writing and in 2017 I received a distinction for the Cambridge International AS level English course. I would love to share my knowledge with others.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Life sciences has always been one of my favorite subjects. In high school I tutored biology from grades 8-10 and I really enjoyed exploring new methods of learning with my students. I also participated in multiple Life Sciences Olympiads throughout my high school career.
Afrikaans
Afrikaans is often seen as a daunting subject and as a first additional speaker, I believe I can make Afrikaans enjoyable and easy to understand. In high school I enjoyed writing Afrikaans stories and reading Afrikaans literature. I would love to share my enthusiasm for the language.
Geography
In high school I was a peer tutor for geography and taught students from grades 8-10. I have always been interested in geography and I love that geography has equipped me with a better understanding of the natural world around me. It would bring me great joy to impart my knowledge.
