I have a passion for community service and helping people in need. From my experience in tutoring as a peer tutor throughout high school and as a tutor at Kumon (Extra Math and English Lessons), I have learnt to strive to encourage self-belief and academic confidence, so as not only to help students learn specific study material, but to help them realize that they are capable of learning anything.

Achievements
• I spent a year post-high school travelling to developing countries and volunteering in community development programmes such as orphanages and housing development programmes.
• I was a Prefect and Deputy Head of Hostel in high school.

Physical Science
I thoroughly enjoy Physical Sciences, having done the subject at a high school level and first-year university. When there is understanding, Physical sciences becomes beautiful. I would like to help more people to be able to experience this.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I really enjoyed Natural Sciences during school. I completed it at a high school level and first year at university. My excitement, understanding and effective study methods of the subject will be valuable to students needing assistance.
Mathematics
I have acquired much knowledge working with Maths in high school and as an engineering student. My goal is to bridge the gap of lack of skills and confidence in students to enable each to see the excitement and application that Mathematics holds.
Afrikaans
I enjoyed Afrikaans at school, and have great learning techniques and approaches towards the language, from not having had Afrikaans as my home language.
