Bio
I’m a second year nursing student with 22 years of life experience. I’ve struggled before, so I know how to help those who struggle. And I’m doing great now!
I would not have chosen nursing as my calling if I did not like to help people. Also, on my journey to nursing school, I was a babysitter and I loved every minute of it!
Education
• I studied BA Languages (1st year) at UP in 2015. I wanted to become a journalist. I became an Au Pair in 2016 which was a great experience. Today I am a 2nd year Nursing studend and I love it!

Achievements
• I taught my 2 year old Au Pair kid that her belly button is called an umbilicus.
• I received my Intermediate certificate in Ballet (DASA)
• I once won a hoola hoop competition at Klein Kariba
• I also had an average of 72% for my first year. This year I will get that distinction!

Afrikaans
I also studied BA languages for a year at UP. I believe I have a natural feeling for languages and I just love how it works!
Life Sciences (Biology)
My school grade for LFSC is not that great, but since then I have also started a degree in nursing at UP. My new found knowledge in physiology and anatomy makes school biology a piece of cake for me!
English
Like I’ve said before, I studied BA Languages for a while and this was also a subject of mine. Even though my mother tongue is Afrikaans, I am studying in English, so I think it is safe to say that I am well equipped in teaching English.
Art
Art was my favorite subject in school, I love the history behind it and I did really well in not only the practical part, but also the theoretical part. I can talk about cubism and Frida Kahlo all day!
Life Orientation
I’m not sure who would want help with this subject, but giving health and sex education is basically my job as a second year nursing student, so I will be glad to help!

I’ve grown up in a Dutch family and I even have Dutch citizenship. I can definitely teach the basics of Dutch to someone wanting to learn the language
