Bio
I love meeting new people and sharing my love of Maths and Biology with them. I believe that a good teacher makes all the difference, and always try to make learning as engaging for you as possible.
I have always loved working with people, and am never happier than when I get to use my experience or knowledge to guide and help those around me. I am extremely empathetic, and believe that it is vitally important to understand other people and what they need in order to support and aid them in meaningful and impactful ways.

• Achieving a Distinction for my Master's of Science Dissertation.
• Winning a Scholarship to Rhodes University during a school science quiz.
• Being able to describe a new species of Insect, which was new to science.

Mathematics
I have over four years experience tutoring Mathematics at a high school level, during which time I have tutored a number of students from both the Cambridge and IEB syllabus.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I was employed as a tutor for Zoology and Botany at Rhodes University, where I was able to help over 50 students in the course of three years. Additionally, I have been privately tutoring biology at a high school level since 2016.
English
English has always been one of my favourite subjects, and I love teaching literature and creative writing. I have participated in several Olympiads, which have taught me to analyse literature and poetry particularly well.
Physical Science
Physics and Chemistry can often feel extremely overwhelming for students, as they are often so complex and difficult to study. I pride myself on my ability to break these complex ideas down and make it accessible and fun for students.

Biology

I have always been particularly passionate about Zoology, and love being able to share my interest in it with students. I have studied Zoology all the way to post-graduate level, and have tutored it for three years at Rhodes University.
Statistics
I have used statistics for my own research, and I have tutored first and second year students in statistics previously. I am confident with using a number of programs for analysis, such as R, Statistica and Excel and by hand.
