I am passionate about the natural world around us and how things work. I am driven, yet friendly and always willing to help where I can.
I enjoy sharing knowledge. I enjoy when people find certain subject matter as interesting as I do and learning something new is easier when you enjoy it. I have volunteered as a facilitator for first and second year zoology modules. I was a demonstrator for both zoology and microbiology practicals at NWU Potchefstroom campus, as well as for modules our university hosted for UNISA students.

My Proudest
Achievements
• Being top of my class in Geology 1st year. Getting good reviews for demonstrating practicals, I always helped students in a way that let them understand the course material better. Finally obtaining my Masters degree after I let personal challenges interfere with my drive to do what I love.
Subjects
- University Tutoring
Zoology
Zoology was one of my two main subjects. I still have a lot of my study material available. I was a demonstrator for practicals. I was facilitator for the first year students in my third and honours years.
Geology
I have always had a love for pretty stones. knowing how these are created by plate tectonics etc. is fascinating. I had the highest marks in our class in my first year and won an award for it.
Botany
The working of biological systems is very interesting. I very much enjoy being in nature and botany excursion gives you that opportunity. I am interested in the scientific names and medicinal and commercial properties of plants as well.
