Bio
I am a passionate musician, teacher and empath. I like working with people, young and old. I enjoy finding ways to facilitate learning in each individual that crosses my path.
I am an energetic teacher and committed academic who is driven to make a difference in the lives of those whom I teach. I understand that no two persons learn in exactly the same way, and I therefore go the extra mile to ensure that I meet each of my students' learning needs. In doing this, I am able to facilitate academic and personal growth.

Achievements
• Being accepted into the highly specialised solo vocal performance course as a part of my BMus degree at the university of Stellenbosch.
• Realising that I am good at teaching AND that I enjoy it.
• My Afrikaans creative writings (poetry and prose) have been published numerous times since 2008.

Afrikaans
I have great knowledge and an excellent command of Afrikaans, and I enjoy teaching the language to others. I was schooled in an Afrikaans medium IEB school, received tertiary education in Afrikaans and took Afrikaans as a subject in university.
Music Theory
I am a highly recommended music teacher with excellent references. I studied BMus at the University of Stellenbosch, and I am employed as a voice teacher at Somerset College. I have a solid understanding of advanced music theory and enjoy teaching it
German
I have an excellent command of German as a Second Additional Language. I had German SAL as a subject from Grades 8-12. I lived in Germany for the past year, where my command of German improved a great deal. I am currently preparing for the Goethe-Zertifikat C1 qualification. I enjoy teaching German!
