I'm a motivated, organised individual. My teaching revolves around creating a fun and engaging environment to help students reach their full academic potential.
I'm a professional tutor with over 5 years of experience. Teaching is something I enjoy. I am patient and understanding when dealing with people. One of my greatest strengths is being able to break down concepts and explain them in creative ways. The subjects that I tutor are the subjects that I enjoy the most; I hope to pass on some of this enthusiasm to my students.

Subjects
- School Tutoring
Mathematics
Maths has always been my favourite subject. I'm currently taking AP maths and calculus at university. I've tutored high school students in maths on a voluntary basis and really enjoyed it, especially seeing students improve. I can break down concepts creatively which helps students to understand.
Geography
This was a subject I enjoyed. As someone studying geological sciences, I have completed modules which builds on high school geography. This has provided me with a greater understanding of the subject which is helpful when tutoring to students.
Physical Science
Physical science has always interested me. I am currently taking physics and chemistry modules in university. I believe that a solid foundational understanding of the topics is the key to success in this subject.
Study skills
I did a study skills course in high school which helped me through school and my tertiary studies. I'm able to identify a student's learning style and teach them how to use that to their advantage. I focus on their concentration, memory skills and study methods for each topic.
- University Tutoring
Geology
I have completed my BSc in geology at UKZN. I've passed all of my modules the first time and can tutor geology related subjects, such as mineralogy and sedimentary petrology. I really enjoyed these subjects and make my lessons as engaging while ensuring that the student understands these concepts.
Applied Mathematics
I completed studying static applied mathematics at UKZN in 2021 while enrolled in mechanical engineering.
Mathematics
The mathematic modules I have completed were at UKZN. Calculus, trigonometry and matrices were the focus of those modules.
