As a demonstrator, I have always been willing to stay even after the practical session is over as it tends to make a difference to the students.

Environmental Studies
I find environmental sciences incredibly fascinating as it is a interdisciplinary field hence it complements my GIS, Geography and Biology. From my first lecture on Geomorphology in first year, I knew that this was where I would flourish and flourish I did.
Biology
I find it fascinating as to how life on earth emerged and why things are the way they are today. I also find plants interesting because of the different roles that they play in an ecosystem. I find the way marine processes occur naturally incredible.
Geography
Urban and rural environments have distinct features, and both are valuable in one way or the other. Honestly growing up, we were always taught that rural areas are not of any value, which I later found out that it wasn’t true. I would really like to pass that knowledge to the next generation.
