I am someone that loves to help others and see other people succeed in achieving their goals. I appreciate the simple things in life and love spending my time with others.
I am giving of my time and I love giving up my time. This is proven in my achievement of the Hendricks trophy in 2018 for my varied extra-curricular involvement and my half and full colours for service during my school career. I am patient and loving. This is shown in the outreach programs I took part in at school like SMILE and HELP which focused on helping children from disadvantaged schools.

Achievements
• I was part of an outreach team in 2018 that won the LeadSA award in the Western Cape. We taught a school in the Transkei during our July holidays.
• I received an Academic scroll and full colours for service in my matric year.
• I got my first job as a waitress by myself in 2019.
Subjects
- School Tutoring
English
I have a passion for English and hope to become an English teacher. I take this subject in university and tutored the subject throughout school in various academic programs like HELP and SHINE. I received 90% in matric.
Mathematics
I went with an outreach group to the Transkei in 2018 to teach mathematics. At first it was a subject that I struggled with, but with hard work and practice it soon become a subject I adored. I want to teach students that they can do it.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I absolutely loved all the content we did in school and tutored the subject through our tutoring program. Being part of the academic portfolio, I really promoted the tutoring of this subject as I loved to teach it. I still find it interesting.
History
Not only was this my favourite subject, it was the one I excelled in the most. I taught it through our academic program and helped many people after school. I helped mainly with essay writing and learning the content. I still study it today.
Afrikaans
I love languages and really want to encourage the importance of understanding Afrikaans. I want to show that it is not as difficult as it seems. I got a distinction in matric.
