I'm a UCT law student in my final year of study who sings an plays guitar and keyboard on the side. I love making things easier and laughing, especially when things get a little tough
I was a holiday club leader and a position like that is impossible to do well without patience and passion. The opportunity to tutor would simply be an expression of my innate desire to help people grow and succeed. Furthermore, I was an orientation leader in university, a mentor and currently a youth leader. Working with young people is a passion and tutoring would be an amazing way to continue.

Achievements
• Graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies and Law and receiving a merit scholarship for my final year. In addition, I was chosen to be part of the International Association of Women Judges-Western Cape District program as a mentee to a Senior Magistrate.

History
This was my favourite subject in high school. I am applying even though my mark is technically below because I wrote my final history exam with meningitis and threw up during the exam so I wasn't at 100% and I still got 79%. I also did A levels.
Afrikaans
I am fluent as I spent years in Tulbagh and had to speak Afrikaans in class and as a way to make friends. As such, I will be able to push my students and make them feel comfortable with the language.
English
I love English and grammar. I did Latin and Word Power at university level and thus have a good grasp of grammar and will be able to guide the student through Paper 1 and the NBTs. In addition, I have a knack for literature and Shakespeare.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I loved Biology in high school and would love to help a student through the technical journey of life. My bio teacher made me fall in love with the subject and I would hope to have the same impact on whoever I help through it.
Mathematics
I have taught maths before and the subject comes to me very naturally as my father believed firmly from a young age that I should not only understand the art of mathematics, but embrace it.
Physical Science
I got good marks for this subject in High School.
