I am a diligent, rational and mature person. I value hard work, dedication and helping others.
I am good at breaking down concepts into simple, easy to communicate components. I am patient and understanding, but will also push others to achieve their potential. I also get a sense of accomplishment in helping others learn and understand something, which really helps me to stay driven and motivated when teaching.

Achievements
• I achieved the third highest average at my school in my final year of high school.
• I completed AS and A level mathematics, and AS level chemistry, in addition to my school syllabus.
• I received an entrance scholarship for the University of Cape Town for academic merit.

Physical Science
I have experience teaching Physical Science from an outreach program in the Eastern Cape. In addition to completing NSC Physical Science, I concurrently completed AS level Chemistry.
Mathematics
I achieved a distinction of 93% for Mathematics in Grade 12. I have experience teaching mathematics from an outreach program in the Eastern Cape, as well school tutoring programs. In addition to completing NSC mathematics, I also concurrently completed both AS and A level mathematics.
English
I achieved a distinction of 93% for English in Grade 12. I am very passionate about literary analysis, and formulating arguments and debate. I was in my school's top set English class throughout high school.
Afrikaans
I achieved a distinction of 89% for Afrikaans in Grade 12. I was in my school's top set Afrikaans class. I received two years of additional Afrikaans lessons to reach a high level.
Information Technology
Programming is a passion of mine and what I am going to pursue as a career. I have completed first year computer science and am currently majoring in it.
