Bio
I am a diligent, patient, hardworking student, studying a B.Com Honours (Accounting) at UCT. I'm passionate about helping others succeed and achieve their goals, and serving my community.
I have experience tutoring both peers and younger learners. I'm a tutor at UCT, which has taught me a lot about leadership, communication and organisation. Furthermore, I am confident in my academic ability, and enjoy the challenge of explaining concepts in ways specific to the needs of whomever I am tutoring. I would really enjoy the opportunity to help others reach their academic goals.
Education
• I hold a B.Com Financial Accounting, and am currently doing my Honours in Accounting at UCT, where I tutor Financial Accounting (first/second year). I also have 3 years of private tutoring experience.

Achievements
• My proudest achievements would be being awarded a scholarship by accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in order to study my course of choice, as well as being the Dux scholar of my high school and being on the Dean's Merit list for three years at UCT.

English
I have a passion for language, and thoroughly enjoyed English as a school subject. I won the Prize for the top English result in high school, and often tutored my classmates up until Matric. My work was also published in English Alive in 2013.
Mathematics
I have always had a knack for Mathematics and can explain problems in many different ways. I also took AP Mathematics and tutored at school, so am well-equipped to help students who are struggling.
Accounting
I enjoy Accounting and achieved highly in Matric, often tutoring my classmates. I'm studying a BCom Honours in Accounting, which gives me a more in-depth knowledge of the subject. This would help me to give students a lot of extra help when tutoring.
History
I have a passion for this subject, and was the top History learner for the last three years of high school. I enjoyed essay-writing and answering different types of questions, which I believe would help me to tutor students well.

Financial Accounting
I tutored Financial Accounting at UCT this year, and achieved very highly in both first and second year. I'm currently doing my Accounting Honours, so have an in-depth Accounting knowledge.
Financial Reporting
I am currently stduying my PGDA, and have previously tutored for UCT's College of Accounting, so I am well equipped to deal with the challenges presented in these courses.
