Bio
I am currently a first-year student at Wits hoping to one day be a research Mathematician. I enjoy Maths, reading and baking. Odd combination, I know.
I think what makes me good at helping others understand is that I don't just explain how to do something or give examples. I explain why we do it. I explain why mathematical formulas that look complicated work and where they come from. I also know a lot about the history of maths and can take you through the thought processes of the people who originally discovered formulas.

• Coming 20th in the 2015 SA Maths Olympiad out of over 60 000 entrants
• Coming fifth in the 2016 physical science Olympiad

I have taken part in the Mathematics Olympiad and qualified for the final round 3 times. In 2015 I was placed 20th in Southern Africa. I have a passion for Maths and intend to be a Mathematician when I complete my university degree.
Physical Science
I was placed fifth in SA in the Physical Science Olympiad in Matric.
Advanced Mathematics
