Through perseverance character is built. I have witnessed that through challenges our character is built. This momentary difficulty establishes your child's character to persevere in future trails.
I have been a teacher for the past two years and have headed camps and other events. I have also been a leader on hikes and student groups. I have learnt to grow in perseverance and therefore can encourage learners to do the same in their desire to improve their marks.

Life Sciences (Biology)
I have completed a dyslexia course and have encountered learners, while teaching abroad in Mozambique, that struggled with ADHD and certain degrees of autism which taught me to adapt my lessons. I've been exposed to many cultures and languages providing me with an insight into different world views.
English
I have been an English teacher for 2 years and have dedicated my time to understand the concepts in depth. I have a deep love for languages and am able to speak English, German and Afrikaans proficiently with a basic understanding of isiXhosa and Portuguese.
Mathematics
I used to struggle with mathematics in school, but decided in university to put in the effort to grasp what was being taught. I understand the frustrations learners go through when they cannot grasp a concept therefore I am able to help them grow in confidence in solving mathematical problems.
- Language Tutoring
German
I was born in Germany and as a result have the ability to translate from German to English and Afrikaans. I am able to help children with their pronunciation and simple sentence structures.
Afrikaans
I went to an Afrikaans medium school while being raised in an English and German household. This enables me to help children who struggle with Afrikaans or even need help translating from English to Afrikaans.
