Bio
I am a 21 year old student with a big heart for people. My empathetic and gentle character equips me to love and help those around me in whatever way I can.
I am a very empathetic and an understanding person. I love people and have a heart for helping. I am able to view a situation or problem from various perspectives which is beneficial in explaining something to a student. I have dealt a lot with people and have learnt how to make another feel heard and valued. I think this is crucial in helping others - doing so from a genuine place of love.
Education
• - Matriculated in 2015 with 3 distinctions
• - 2016 to 2018: B.SocSci in Psychology and Social Development at UCT
• I am currently doing a postgraduate degree in teaching (Foundation Phase) at UCT
My Proudest
Achievements
• Being voted the vice-head of Junior School boarding in matric. I love kids and my ability to both lead and love these young (often very homesick) boarders, was seen and honoured. Getting my UCT degree.
Subjects

Mathematics
Maths didn't come particularly easy and thus, I worked hard ensuring I understood everything step-by-step. The clarity I gained from this approach would enable me to tutor with empathy and accuracy.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I thoroughly enjoy biology. I found a good study method for this subject and would love to teach that to students. I have also done a lot of biology In my UCT Psychology degree.
English
English is a beautiful subject which I thoroughly enjoyed at school. I did a bit of English in University and in my degree of 3 years, I have done my fair share of essays and literature reviews.
- Music Tutoring
Guitar (Contemporary)
I learnt guitar as a child and still play it rather often. I would love to build up a child's skill in this beautiful instrument and hopefully stir up a passion within them.
