Accounting

I achieved a distinction for Accounting in Grade 12 and it is a subject that I understand very well and enjoy teaching it. I was also a student council in high school and a serial Top-ten achiever.

Mathematics Literacy

I did Mathematical Literacy in high school and I achieved excellent results in the subject. I have very good understanding of Maths Lit. I am confident in my ability to break down concepts into manageable content and assist other learners to excel!

English

I passed English very well throughout my studies. I am in the process of obtaining a TEFL certificate, which equips one with the skills to teach English overseas, as well as IELTS, which stands for “International English Language Testing System”, an exam to judge English language ability.

Life Orientation

I obtained a distinction in the subject at the end of my matric. In my humble opinion, the syllabus could do better. For instance for grade 12 learners, I incorporate extensive lessons on post-matric life for those who wish to pursue academic careers and especially non-academic endeavours.

Afrikaans

I did Afrikaans in Primary school as a Home language and ranged between As and Bs. I did it as First additional language in high school where I also ranged between the same threshold. I am able to speak it fluently and help others with all aspects of the language.

English

I have excellent command of the English language, both in writing and speaking. I am in the process of obtaining a TEFL certificate, which equips one with the skills to teach English overseas.

Conversational English

I have a TEFL certificate, which is aimed at students who are seeking to learn English as a second or foreign language. The skills I have garnered from the course and tutoring English make it possible for me to cater to a wide array of students seeking to learn different aspects of the language.
