Mathematics

I have a very good relationship with the subject as I use mathematics daily through statistics, economics and accounting. Mathematics sparked my affinity for problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking and simplifying these skills to be easily understood.

Accounting

Accounting has combined my love for numbers and finance. As accounting is my main subject in university, I constantly utilise my skills in time management and accuracy. I also acquired the skill of learning the principles of finance.

Physical Science

I learnt how to observe and infer about the world around us through both physics and chemistry and to use technical skills about the reason for the way the physical world works on both a macro and micro scale. I can concisely communicate these principles.

Life Sciences (Biology)

I can teach one how to summarise high quantities of information into more manageable bite-sized chunks to grasp the concepts of living organisms quickly. I can teach one the skills of writing essays in a life science context.

Afrikaans

I am able to teach one Afrikaans in a way that's understandable to teaching a subject like Maths and I learnt Afrikaans through finding connections, similarities and patterns in the language which helped me succeed in the subject.

Statistics

Through this module, I gained analytical and observational skills as well as communicating the inference of the statistics in a clear and elaborate explanation. I would love to help students succeed.
