I completed my Matric in 2020, which presented many academic challenges but through Matric I learnt the importance of academic guidance and support. Now I want to share what I’ve learnt with others.
I also have struggled academically in the past and have found that teachers who were able to break down concepts and change their wording in order to assist me in my understanding have been of great importance. Because of this, I feel that I am able to better articulate and explain ideas to others. Throughout high school, I also successfully helped my peers better their understandings of concepts.
• I completed Matric in 2020 and am currently studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Cape Town.
• I received distinctions in all 7 of my subjects at the end of matric despite doing matric during a pandemic. I managed to obtain academic half-colours 3 times during my grade 10 - 12 years as well as achieving academic colours. I also managed to do grade 8 piano.
