I have a great passion to assist scholars achieve academic excellence.
Owing to my diligent work ethic, I have held numerous positions such as tutor and part-time lecturer. All these experiences have taught me empathy, patience as well as to not be prejudice. I have also volunteered as a mentor with South African Education Project (SAEP), which involved interacting with students from different backgrounds and assisting them or offering advise when needed.

• My most profound achievements will have to include seeing my students graduate or make breakthroughs in their studies. Those moments are so precious to me.
• The completion of my PhD also has to be mentioned, considering how demanding the journey was and my seeing it to the end was quite rewarding.
Microbiology
Over the years I was engaged in part-time lecturing, teaching assisting, mentoring, and tutoring at both undergraduate and post graduate levels. This included Microbiology. I enjoyed the subject matter and would like to help fellow students enjoy it too!
Anatomy
I have always had a keen interest in how basic body structures work together to perform a unique body function. This same interest immediately attracted me to lecture Human Anatomy and Physiology at Cape Peninsula University for the Extended Curriculum Program.
Research Methodology
In order to further my research skills, I undertook a Doctoral degree in Biotechnology with the University of the Western Cape. I specialized in the fields of microbiology, immunology, and nanotechnology.
Research
At the University of the Western Cape, I have been actively involved in the mentoring and laboratory training of new Postgraduate students. These gratifying experiences have significantly contributed in launching my career in research. I also hold both a Master’s and Doctorate degree.
Mathematics
I am patient and understanding in my approach to learning, and believe this is key to helping students overcome their challenges in the subject matter
Biochemistry
I have experience in tutoring Biochemistry at a post grad level. I find I am able to explain difficult concepts in a way people can understand, making their learning more enjoyable and successful
Biology
I have been engaged in part-time lecturing, teaching assisting, mentoring, and tutoring at both undergraduate and post graduate levels at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa. Courses taught included Anatomy and Physiology, Cytology, Molecular biology, and Microbiology.
Organic Chemistry
I would like to help students in adopting the correct approach for this subject, so that they become comfortable with and able to excel in Chemistry
