Questions matric parents ask
When should matric tutoring start?
Earlier compounds: starting in the first term means gaps are closed before the June exams, and trials become a progress check instead of a warning. But every window has a plan, and a focused block between trials and finals still moves marks.
Can you help with just exam technique?
Yes. If the knowledge is there but marks leak in the exam room, tutors run timed past-paper blocks with mark-scheme feedback: where the marks are, how examiners award them, and how to stop losing them to timing.
Do you cover IEB and NSC?
Both. Tutors are matched to your child's curriculum and work from its official past papers and marking guidelines.
Online or in person?
Both: in person in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Durban, and online everywhere in South Africa. Many families combine the two as finals approach.
How many lessons a week before finals?
It depends on the date and the gap. Most matric students run one to two lessons per subject per week, stepping up through trials and finals. The plan sets the cadence, not a one-size rule.
