Theory of music starts from pre-grade 1 in UNISA but due to my progress, I managed to skip pre-grade 1 and go straight to grade 1. I learnt Theory of music for 1 year and it remains embedded in my mind, Therefore I would like to share it.
I love music! I have written several exams, including UNISA and Royal Schools, and studied Music theory up to second year at Rhodes University.
I am passionate about Music and play 6 instruments. I took Music for IEB Matric as well as played Royal School and Trinity exams (for Violin and Piano) and wrote Trinity theory exams.
In terms of music theory, I can teach the Trinity Guildhall or Royal Schools Theory to a grade 5 Music Theory level, which is equivalent to an NSC Matric level. I've written a Music Theory grade 6 exam and completed the work for the grade 7 syllabus.
