Theory of music starts from pre-grade 1 in UNISA but due to my progress, I managed to skip pre-grade 1 and go straight to grade 1. I learnt Theory of music for 1 year and it remains embedded in my mind, therefore I would like to share it.
I have played the cello for 15 years and did music as a subject at school. I can play Cello at an intermediate level. I have taken private Cello lessons for ~15 years as well, so I am familiar with teaching styles and techniques as well.
I obtained an ABRSM certificate for Grade 5 Music Theory. I took drumkit and flute as practical instruments. I have played in a flute trio and was the Band's Percussionist for the school's production in 2015.
I completed my Grade 6 Piano Theory exam in 2014 and achieved a Merit. I thoroughly enjoy this subject as it enables you to see the technical side of music, whilst still enjoying yourself.
