I completed BA Music summa cum laude and BA Music Honours cum laude from UKZN. I have performed internationally for 4 years and have been teaching music theory from 2011 to present. I accumulated a minimum of 80% for music theory during my studies.

Along with my theoretical knowledge, including Grade 5 Credo Music Theory Exam, I also have experience in singing and piano. I also received the top mark in South Africa for music AS level.

I started with Music in Gr. 4 and went on to classical percussion in High School in which I achieved Gr.6 through Royal Schools and Music Theory Gr.5 through Unisa.

I have always had a strong love for music. In particular, the theory of music and its mathematical nature has always sparked my interest. As such, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music Media Composition and am a well experienced multi-instrumentalist. I am a people person who loves to teach!

I have played the piano since I was 6 years old and have loved music my entire life. Music theory is an important foundation for any musician and plays a huge role in improving musical ability. I did well in music theory throughout high school and have 12 years of playing experience on the piano.
