I'm an Electrical Engineer who chose teaching — because I realised most learners don't struggle with Maths and/or Science, they struggle with how it's been explained to them.
I don't just re-explain the textbook. I find the specific reason a concept isn't landing, then rebuild it using plain language and analogies that actually connect. My engineering background means I can show learners where the Maths lives in the real world. My PGCE means I know how to structure that into a lesson. The result: learners who don't just pass — they understand.

Achievements
• Survived a BSc Electrical Engineering at UKZN, then chose to teach — because explaining things well matters more to me than anything else. Capped it with a PGCE and as an education assistant, I earned a Certificate of Appreciation for stepping in when a school needed someone most.

Mathematics
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCBSc Electrical Engineering and a completed PGCE give me both deep subject mastery and the teaching methodology to back it up. With classroom experience across Grades 7–11, I don't just simplify concepts — I find exactly where understanding breaks down and fix it there.
Physical Science
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI studied Electrical Engineering — Physical Science isn't just a subject I teach, it's a language I've used professionally. That means when a learner asks why something works, I can actually show them. Not just for the exam. For real.
Life Sciences (Biology)
Grade 1 - Grade 12 NSCI tutor active Grade 10 and 12 Life Sciences learners. Biology is full of abstract processes most learners just memorise and forget — I'd rather find the right analogy that makes it click permanently. From genetics to life systems, understanding always comes before the textbook.
