Knowing how to structure answers and essays is very important. I would give tips on how to approach questions which could help with any novel/poem etc.

Notes are an important part of maths and I find them to be very useful. Working cheat sheets and other notes is important. We know that practice is important for maths but I also focus on the basics.

I would teach how to answer the questions specifically for what they are looking for. There are some surprising ways they mark LO and it’s important to look out for them.

I love applying concepts to real life and current affairs. When using very basic explaining, economics can be very intuitive and easy to understand once you’ve grasped the basic points.

I simplify challenging Natural Science concepts and work through problems step by step, so learners understand the formulas and don’t just rote learn. I use visuals and notes to explain big processes, and we experiment with different tools to find what works best for each learner.

There are many formulas and patterns in the way Afrikaans is assessed so I would help identify them.
