Bio
I'm a 23-year-old graduate who loves working with different people and learning about myself. I enjoy reading, travelling, spending time with my family and friends and getting out into nature.
I genuinely enjoy helping others and have always gone out of my way to positively impact others in studies, service, and work. I have had experience tutoring at university level through the Gender Studies department which I thoroughly enjoyed. The TEFL qualification has also allowed me to work with refugees who I hope to continue serving on a voluntary basis. I love working with different people.

• -Distinction(s) in high school and university; being recognized for academic merit is always flattering.
• -Traveling on my own on a school exchange to Australia for 3 months and learning the value of self-reliance.
• -Completing my first 21km race! This taught me tenacity and perseverance.

Geography
I excelled at Geography at school and found an efficient and fun way to study for it. I also have experience in doing research-based projects. This is what inspired me to study Humanities subjects during my undergraduate degree.
Mathematics Literacy
I found maths in school difficult, but by excelling at Maths Lit it gave me renewed confidence and self-esteem. I also have experience with similar material in university (statistics for Humanities).
English
I am a proficient English speaker who enjoyed English language and literature at school. I have recently completed a teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) through UCT. I am confident that I can help first and second-language English learners.
