Bio
I am Georgina Snaddon; a hard-working high school, and now university student. I love people and learning , and I believe everyone deserves to learn and to excel.
I am passionate about helping people help themselves. I spent last year traveling and working and learning all that I possibly could to equip me with what I now believe to be a diverse set of skills which I have since used in all ways possible to help myself help others. I au-paired in Italy for 3 months in 2017 and learnt more than I could have imagined about people, and particularly children.
Education
• 2012-16: Westerford High School. Results average: 86%.
• 2017: Europe Gap year: traveling and working.
• 2018: Rhodes University- majoring in Anthropology and Journalism, others being History and English.
My Proudest
Achievements
• Receiving 100% for my art practical in matric in 2016.
• Receiving a merit award for my matric results that is allowing me to study at Rhodes University for free.
• The moment that the young girl I was au-pairing in Italy said her first proper english sentence without my help.

Art History
I took fine art as a subject in High School and enjoyed it thoroughly. This subject included practical art, as well as art History. I am passionate about art and would like to pass on this passion to anyone that is willing to learn.
English
I took english as a High School subject and have always enjoyed it as an academic practice, as well as a recreational activity when it comes to writing and reading. I am studying English Literature as a university subject at Rhodes University.
Art
I am highly passionate about art, and although I am not pursuing it as a career I would love to continue being involved in teaching and passing on the passion that I have for it. I have done art academically since I was in grade 1.
History
I did History as a High School subject and found it interesting from start to finish. I am studying it as a university subject and am still finding it highly interesting. I enjoy writing essays, reading and discovering new things about history.
