Bio
I am passionate in everything that I commit to, and go above and beyond to deliver on promises to myself, and others. I am empathetic and approachable and will always be there for my students.
On many occasions, I was not a natural when it came to certain concepts in the classroom. As a result, I have had to work out ways to gain an understanding by explaining things to myself in simple terms and then building on that knowledge to get to the required standard. I will be able to do the same for my students, allowing them to understand concepts thoroughly and excel.

• I was awarded a Champagnat medal in my Matric year, which is awarded to students that are involved in every aspect of the school, as balance in life is very important to me.

Physical Science
I have always had an affinity for Physics as it explains many things we see on a daily basis. In my first year of study at Wits I took Physics as a full year course which further solidified and added to my knowledge and skills from school.
Geography
My teacher's passion for the subject instilled a passion of my own. I hope to in still a confidence and passion in my students which will reflect in their marks. I received a Distinction for Geography.
Chemistry
In addition to completing Matric Chemistry, my Degree required me to take Chemistry as a full-year course in first year. I believe that this has given me a deeper understanding of the content and will allow me to impart my knowledge more effectively.
Afrikaans
My Afrikaans teacher was so passionate about Afrikaans and this definitely rubbed-off on me! I aim to teach students my tricks to excelling and in doing so, allow them to be confident and at ease during a paper. I received a Distinction for Afrikaans
Life Sciences (Biology)
I am currently studying Biomedical Science and Biology has always been a major interest of mine. After taking Biology at a first-year level, I am confident that I will be able to effectively teach my students difficult concepts in a memorable way.
Mathematics
I believe that Mathematics is a 'building-blocks' subject. If the foundations are weak, It will be difficult to expand on them later on. Thus I make sure that my students have a good grasp on concepts which will benefit them now, and in later years.
English
Instilling an appreciation for a language with vast nuances is something that I'd like my learners to take from my lessons.
