Bio
I have a wide range of interests from embroidery to swimming, reading and film photography. I am passionate about people and I love working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
I have experience in working with kids ages 4 and up, all the way to university students. I was a mentor at Stellenbosch University and tutored Model United Nations, English, and Mathematical Literacy at the surrounding schools. I thrive on problem solving and finding creative solutions. I know that people learn differently and I view teaching/learning challenges as exciting rather than daunting.

History
I have a life-long passion for History, and I completed my Honours in History at Stellenbosch University, cum laude. I have studied it through all years of schooling and have learnt different tips and tricks to make learning History fun!
French
I have studied French for the last 10 years, through school and at university - where I majored in French. I have completed my DELF A1, A2, and B1 and in 2020 I will take my B2 exam. My skills are in reading comprehension, literature, and speaking.
Mathematics Literacy
I achieved a distinction in Mathematics Literacy in high school, and I enjoy its applicability to real-life problems. I have also completed the 'core' maths syllabus, and have a working understanding of that to assist me. I enjoy problem solving.
English
I have studied English all through-out school and during my first year of university. I achieved a distinction in Year 12, in English. My skills are in literature analysis and essay writing.
Exam Preparation
I have passed every exam I have ever written throughout school and university, while doing many extra-mural activities. I have learnt different methods and tricks that have helped me study, especially as someone who is a visual and kinetic learner.
