I have always been an admirer of innovation born through research & development. This together with my highly inquisitive nature, ultimately influenced pursuing my career in science & technology.
Helping others is a part of who I am as I feel that in addition to the personal joy and satisfaction it brings, I think the concept of "paying it forward" and common courtesy ultimately tries to make everyone's life better. I love the feeling of knowing the joy in peoples' hearts is a result of something that I did. However I tend to feel guilty whenever I find myself unable to assist in any way.

Achievements
• Volunteered at NSQC (2014-2018), a televised academic sport open to every school in the world with a vision to encourage academic excellence. As Country/ Contestant/ Tournament Manager, NSQC managed to facilitate the award of university scholarships worth more than 6 million rands from 2014 to 2018.
